OUR EVENTS
Throughout my career as a marine biologist, I have worked with marine mammals, like seals and sea otters, whose beauty and charm have amazed and engaged countless individuals across the globe.
Sadly, the vast majority of the marine mammals that I’ve worked with were those in need of rescue after harmful interactions with humans. Some were entangled in fixed fishing nets while others blinded by gunshot wounds.
That’s why I decided that I no longer want to simply amaze and engage. I want to educate and inspire! I want to educate people about how small changes in their life can have big impacts on the health of our oceans. More importantly, I want to inspire people to take direct action in conservation efforts to protect these marine mammals!
So far, the KPassionate community helped raise almost 50,000 dollars for ocean conservation and marine mammal rescue efforts! It’s my hope that we can do even better in 2023!
